is one of Dublin’s most distinctive wedding venues — a beautifully
converted space with lush cloistered gardens, a heated courtyard
terrace, and intimate dining rooms that make even large celebrations
feel personal.
Up to 150 guests. Restaurant-style service in a banqueting setting.

What Makes the Difference
The Food
Marco says it best:
“It is our firm belief that great dishes are produced when you select
the finest ingredients available and treat them simply and sensitively.
We take great care in sourcing only premium Irish ingredients and we
visit our producers regularly to ensure standards are maintained.”
All food is prepared fresh on the day. All mains are cooked to order.
Temperature is taken on every steak. This is restaurant-standard
cooking in a wedding setting — something not every venue does,
and something we do exceptionally well.
Personal Service
The Courtyard Bar & Grill has been family-run since it opened in 2013.
That ownership is felt in the detail — the décor, the layout, the
atmosphere are constantly evolving, kept special and unique by people
who genuinely care about the venue.
That attention to detail feeds directly into the team. From your
first enquiry through to the last dance, you will deal with
experienced people who have handled hundreds of weddings with
the same standard of food and service you’d expect at any MPW table.
The Bar
The bar at the Courtyard was refashioned from the original Montrose
Hotel in Stillorgan — a genuinely impressive centrepiece that becomes
the natural gathering point for your guests throughout the evening.
Crucially, the bar sits within the same space as the dining room.
There is no hotel lobby for guests to drift to. Everyone stays
together — which is exactly what makes a wedding feel like a
celebration rather than a function.
Flexibility
As we only host one wedding at a time, your day runs exactly as
you want it. Preferred layout, timings, run of play — all entirely
flexible. We can even host your ceremony in our beautiful courtyard.
The Library Room is kept exclusively for the wedding couple on the
day — a private space for a moment away from everyone, whenever
you need it.

The Marco Pierre White Courtyard Bar & Grill occupies a beautifully converted
space on Belmont Avenue — one of Donnybrook village’s most characterful
addresses. The entrance alone, through a vine-covered gate, sets the tone for
what follows.
Inside, the restaurant combines the warmth of a neighbourhood bistro with
the polish of a premium dining room. Private spaces including The Garden Room
and The Library Room make this one of Dublin 4’s most versatile venues for
both intimate dinners and larger celebrations.
Close to the Intercontinental Hotel, Herbert Park Hotel, Clayton Hotel,
Aviva Stadium and the RDS — and yet, once you’re through that gate,
the city feels far away.
